At LGTCE Technology Management means ...
- evaluation of innovative European technologies,
- coordination of collaborations and development projects between European organisations and LG in Korea,
- establishment of collaborations between European companies and research organisations,
- integration of high technologies into the LG Group, for instance in the framework of joint developments, licenses, technology transfers etc.,
- search for new components and materials, as well as
- bridging cultural differences between Korea and Europe.
Our work is characterised by two directions:
- On behalf of LG companies in Korea, we are scouting within the European area for solutions for a specific task. Identified potential solution providers will be contacted and evaluated by LGTCE. In case of a positive result, the direct link to the Korean LG companies will be established.
- Companies or persons possess an interesting innovation, valuable idea or business model suitable for the LG Group. After a first evaluation, LGTCE takes care to feed this in at the right place within the LG Group.
