From our staff, we expect an exceptional passion for technologies. But being successful means to us having competences exceeding technologies:

• Methodical know-how, especially in identifying and evaluating innovations, ideas, and outstanding technologies;
• Establishing of a comprehensive, personal network within the LG Group;
• Good overview of current technological trends especially in the European area;
• Tact combined with a good assertiveness during negotiations on different cultural and hierarchical levels;

Nobody can say for certain, what will be the next break-through technology. Thus, we cannot limit ourselves to our existing competencies and products, but nonetheless they indicate a direction. Therefore, LGTCE has following focal points at the moment: mobile communcation, digital TV, photovoltaics, Lithium-Ion-Polymer batteries, home appliances, as well as different kinds of surface coatings.
