Lithium-Ion-Polymer Batteries
GM, Hyundai, Eaton and Buick have already made their decisions and chose LG Chem as their supplier for the Lithium-Ion-Polymer Batteries (LIPB) of their electrical vehicles. Thanks to LG Chem's patented seperator and carefully selected cathod materials, LG Chem LIPB are one of the safest. In addition, our aluminium-polymer pouch provides extra safety compared to prismatic cells.
LED
Besides for LED-retrofits (a LED-illuminant usable in classical halogen or light bulb sockets), we are offering cooperations for manufacturing and commercialisation of complex LED-Lamps. LG's service portfolio comprises in-depth know-how about the LED-technology, starting from LED-chips up to the development and mass-production of LED-engines/modules.
Plasma-Sulfur-Lamps
A magnetron produces microwaves which stimulate a gas-sulfur-fluid. As a result, a plasma-field is produced which emits a light close to the light-spectrum of the sun.
